Screw piles have an advantage over traditional drill and pour piles as they can be installed with minimal disturbance to the environment. To date this feature has been an excellent solution for sloping vegetated bush sites in the Waitakeres and on ecologically-sensitive shoreline habitats.
We can use our long-reach arm to span across vegetation, into the water and up banks, and operate the digger up to 18m away from the pile being installed. As the installation of the pile itself creates minimal disturbance to the ground, this method is ideal for sensitive or protected environments.
